Windows 7 is an popular operating system from Microsoft.
At the time of fresh installation of Windows 7, you get a few themes to change the appearance.
But do you know that Windows 7 also has some hidden themes stored.
You can activate them by doing the following :-
Step 1 :
Go to the Computer and Click Tools and then Folder Options ( If you don’t have that Menu bar displayed then you should click Organize and in the drop-down menu you’ll find Folder Options.)
Step 2 :
Then Move to the View Tab inside Folder Options Window then Select “Show hidden files, folders and drives” and also uncheck “Hide protected operating system files” then Apply the Settings.
Step 3 :
Navigate to the ‘Globalization‘ Folder inside the Windows Folder in the Root Drive where Windows is installed.
( In My Case it was ” C:\Windows\Globalization\” )
Here You will Find 3 Folders
1: ELS
2:MCT ( If this folder is not appearing then it means that you done some mistake in the previous steps.)
3:Sorting
If MCT folder appears, double click on that folder and inside it you will find 5 more folders.
These 5 folders have 5 different themes.
Double Click Any of these 5 Folders and you will see a Theme Folder.
Double Click that File Present inside the Theme Folder to activate the theme.
Here is the Result.
I have a theme called ‘Australia‘ activated.
